For several parties in Heerlen, our company wrote a businesscase for the development of a datacenter of approxamitely 3,000 sm. Part of the assignment was to investigate the posibility of greenfield or brownfield development.

In this investigation the build of a modulair datacenter in an excisting building came out as very interesting. With very little changes to the building itself, a datacenter of five almost even large colocation rooms might be realized. In the field of cooling and electricity the most innovative technics where used, like cold corridors, kyoto cooling and synergy in UPS build, which made available both N+1 and 2N configurations at very competative pricing.
