During the same period as the build of Telehouse Groningen, a number of private and (semi) public companies came to the conclusion that in addition to the SIG Telehouse, a metro fiber optic ring should be build. For SIG Real Estate we were participant to the CNG project team and we realized that most of the real estate of SIG was connected to the metro ring and to the Groningen Internet Exchange (GN-IX) For more information:
